I pride myself in being an energetic, creative, and inventive marketing communications professional striving to bring together my business acumen with my eye for artistic and design sensibility. Having an interdisciplinary education in which I embraced both my astute knowledge of global business and my passion driven interest in art, I have carved out a niche. I desire to work for an innovative company seek individuals that can do more than the basic day to day tasks. I strive to go the extra mile and bring special attention to details in every task I perform, whether it be small daily assignments to large on-going projects.
The diversity of my experiences keeps me motivated and committed to learning more everyday. I seek out challenges in the work I do and prefer to surround myself with individuals that strive to create, innovate, and make changes with the same zeal for the job as the stakeholders.
As a child my family moved around due to my father's profession, after living various places in the Midwest, Texas, California, finally settling in a small mountain community in Colorado. After high school I picked up my belongings to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. While pursuing my bachelors of arts in global business, I was able to study abroad in Madrid, Spain to study international marketing and Spanish modern art. During my final year at the University of Redlands I traveled to China visiting 8 cities for a course in Chinese business, coming face to face with many different industry leaders. My passion for traveling and exploring has not stopped since, after multiple trips to China, and a three month journey to India and Southeast Asia, through traveling in Asia, my interest in the arts and cultures grew and grew. I realized that Southeast Asia was the perfect place to learn more about how business, culture and arts play a role in the development of nations. I embarked to Southeast Asia to obtain a Masters in Art Business with Sotheby's Institute of Art. After a year of studying and working in Singapore, I returned to the United States feeling that my experience and knowledge of the art, culture, and business could be widely used in many industries.
My passions other than traveling, art and design include reading, cooking, my furry Airedale Terrier, Elliot, and listening to TEDtalks!
I am always interested in finding my next challenge!
